Sharp new styling provides a much more sporty appearance than the previous model and draws on Kawasaki's strong KX motocross imagery so that it is instantly recognizable as a Kawasaki off-road vehicle.

• Center cover has a more aggressive slant, contributing to the sharper styling.  A slit in the cover adds to the sporty image, while the white number plate-style design resembles Kawasaki KX image.  Revised grille shape also contributes to the shaper design.
• Taller front fenders add to the aggressive design and convey an image of strong off-road performance.
• Previously just decals, new LED accent lights offer enhanced cosmetic flair, while also making the vehicle easier to see to help parents track young riders on their explorations.
• New LED taillight contributes to a modern touch to the refreshed styling.

Increased Engine Protection

• Larger covers inside the front wheel wells help keep dirt and debris out of the engine room.

Parental Controls

• A throttle-limiting screw located on the throttle housing allows parents to limit throttle opening to help new riders gain experience at slower speeds.
• A removable collar installed in the CVT limits travel of the driver converter, producing a lower overall drive ratio to reduce speed.
• Keyed ignition switch prevents starting without a key.
• Back-up kick-starter system allows the engine to be started even if the battery is drained of power
